GOVERNOR NEWSOM PROCLAIMS SPECIAL ELECTION FOR ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 63
Governor Gavin Newsom today issued a proclamation declaring a special election for Assembly District 63 on August 26, 2025. A special primary election will be held June 24, 2025. If one candidate receives a majority of the votes (50% +1), no special general election will be held.
